I firmly support the candidacy of Giovanni Foresti as member of the IPA Board. I worked with him on the Board of the Italian Psychoanalytic Society when he was Scientific Secretary of our Society. I have fully appreciated his wide and in depth knowledge of psychoanalysis, his dedication to work, his specific attitude of working together and last, but not least, his pluralistic vision of psychoanalysis and challenges which are waiting us for. Giovanni Foresti will strongly contribute to the development of the IPA in the current world.
